How to Lose $5000 While Bike Racing

Honestly, his chain broke. He dropped a chain. So he does what any reasonable person would do; toss a $5000+ bike over the side of a bridge.

You say his chain broke, he dropped his chain. Well, which is? RIGHT - he BROKE…NOT dropped it, any reasonably skilled amateur could throw a dropped chain right back on without missing a beat. A N D - he didn’t throw it over a bridge, he just chicked it in the weeds, and the fans got it right back for him, I’m sure it was fine. NO $5000 LOSS!

Well his team car was probably on the way to give him a new bike to finish the race, and he simply wanted to get the old bike off the race course.
